Niti Aayog draft policy on migrant workers 

Recently, NITI Aayog, along with a working subgroup of officials and members of civil society, has prepared a draft National Migrant Labour policy.

What is it? : National Migrant Labour Policy

  • Focus on Cash transfer,Special quotas,Reservations of national migrants. 
  • Enhance the agency and capability of the community  


India needs to develop steel intellectual property for Atmanirbhar Bharat

There is a need to develop intellectual property and technology in the areas of advanced steel and alloys to indigenously satisfy the critical requirements and expand the export horizon, said Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Wednesday.

  • Demand

The Five phases of Atmanirbhar Bharat are:

  • Phase-I: Businesses including MSMEs

 Potential drug developed candidate for Alzheimer’s treatment

A group of scientists from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) have designed a set of novel small molecules that could disrupt the mechanism through which neurons become dysfunctional in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). 





What is it ?

  •  In Alzheimer’s disease , usually abnormal levels of naturally forming protein accumulate to form plaques that collect between neurons and disrupt cell function.
  •  This is caused due to production and deposition of the amyloid peptide (Aβ), which collects in the central nervous system.
